What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a system that connects consumers directly with local farmers. In our model, individuals or families purchase a share of local farm's produce in advance, receiving fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables throughout local area farms. This encourages sustainable farming practices and fosters a strong relationship between the community and its local food sources.  By participating in a CSA, consumers support local agriculture while enjoying natures most delicious and fresh produce.

What’s in the CSA Box?

​

Our CSA boxes contain a variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits each week and may include such things as lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, onions, cucumbers, spinach, squash, garlic, herbs, radishes, tomatoes, eggplant, carrots, kale, potatoes, beets, etc.  The amount and variety of produce shifts over the course of the season. Each week we harvest the crops that are perfectly ready to eat and include a recipe and info about a highlighted produce of the week.

Welcome to our CSA boxes, where you’ll discover a delightful selection of seasonal vegetables and fruits each week! Expect to find fresh picks like lettuce, broccoli, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, corn, cantaloupe, watermelon and maybe even some produce you may have never had the "courage" to try before!  The variety changes as the season progresses to bring you what we grow!  Every week, we carefully harvest crops at their peak ripeness, ensuring the best flavor and quality.

By supporting our CSA, you not only get to enjoy seasonal food – but you get the best produce the area farms have to offer, including Cedar Hollow Farms! Plus, you'll get discounted rates on our monthly events, like Baby Animal Day, Dog Days of Summer, as well as our many fall activities!  You'll also have the exclusive option to shop fresh baked goods in our market on the day of pickup!   We offer convenient pick up at our farm, or delivery right to your doorstep.

Our 26-week Summer Season runs from May 7th and ends on October 29th.

​

$35 per week - Picked up at our farm, located at 2475 Quakertown Rd, Pennsburg. 

$910 per season.  Payment is due in full by April 1st.

$45 per week - Delivered right to your doorstep, locally.

$1170 per season.  Payment is due in full by April 1st.

We accept cash, check and charge.  A 3% surcharge will be charged on all credit card transactions.
